Here’s what to expect when you book a free now>press>play trial for your primary school:
1. Tell us you’re interested
To get started, simply fill out some details about your role and the school you’re enquiring for. We’ll send you an email explaining a bit more about how now>press>play works, as well as some case studies showing our impact.
A member of our team will reach out to you so that you can book your consultancy call.
Depending on your availability, we can set this up within a few days or even a week.
2. Consultancy Call
On the call, a member of our team will listen to your school’s needs and requirements and recommend how now>press>play could work for you, including any extra considerations.
If you have any questions about funding options, curriculum tips, or anything else, they will be happy to help you and suggest solutions.
You’ll then choose your dates for your free two-week trial and receive details on how to login to the now>press>play app, which is where all of our 90+ Experiences and 400+ follow-on resources can be found.
3. Your equipment arrives
A few days before your trial training, your school will receive all the equipment needed to use now>press>play.
Your now>press>play box contains:
- Our pink headphones (full class set)
- Transmitter (and aux cable connector)
- Batteries
- North, South, East, and West signs (unique to our Experiences)
Alongside your equipment, you’ll receive:
- Video instructions showing how to set up and use the now>press>play equipment and app.
- Your interactive Trial Timetable, which you can use to plan which Experiences your school will use.
- Full access to our app, containing all 90+ Experiences and over 400 follow-on resources, including:
You can book in a support call at this stage if you’d like to discuss anything.
4. Staff Training
To ensure you get the best out of our immersive audio adventures, we provide bespoke training for your staff on using now>press>play across your school.
Your training session covers:
- How our EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Experiences work
- Our follow-on resources
- Incorporating now>press>play into teachers’ planning
- Using the now>press>play app
- Other ways to use the pink headphones
Staff also get the chance to try out one of our Experiences for themselves — which is always a highlight.
now>press>play enables children to experience things that are out of this world and then write about it as though it really happened to them. It allows them to stand in the shoes of the character. The staff look forward to now>press>play as much as the children do and everyone smiles throughout the whole Experience!

5. Have a go!
Once you’ve received your training, your school is free to use now>press>play for two weeks. There’s no limit: you can use any Experience, across any class, as many times as you like.

A member of our team will be on hand to support your journey; they can suggest some Experiences you might want to try and help with any questions or ideas you have.

6. Embarking on your now>press>play journey
When you’ve finished your free trial, we’ll arrange a meeting to discuss how everything went and whether you want to continue with an annual subscription to join all the other amazing schools that are part of our now>press>play community.
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll introduce you to your friendly Account Manager. They’ll help you plan now>press>play into your school curriculum, as well as provide specialist top-up training, Spotlight sessions, and support throughout your now>press>play journey.
