At what point in my topic should I use an Experience?

You can use an Experience at any time during your topic: kick off with a bang, use it halfway through to keep up motivation or finish on a high.

If you do want to use it as an opening, check the Experience glossary first for vocabulary your children might not have come across yet. With Science or Geography in particular, it might be easier to do the Experience after some initial learning.
