Alice Lacey
CEO & Co-Founder

Since co-founding now>press>play over a decade ago, I’ve done everything from scriptwriting to account management to bookkeeping. My role now is to set the vision and strategy for the company, oversee the finances, recruit incredible people and make sure that we have a happy, inclusive working environment.

I’m incredibly proud of the work we do at now>press>play to make learning fun, exciting and accessible for children all over the world.

Oscar Wood
Head of Product & Co-Founder

Having co-founded the company in 2012, I’m now responsible for the strategy and creation of now>press>play’s product, working with our talented writers, teachers and composers.

For 4 years I co-directed Seenaryo, an arts education charity working in Lebanon and Jordan, and I’m currently completing an MA in Education and International Development.

Tilly Brooke
Chief Operating Officer

I feel very lucky as I get to work across all areas of the business working closely with our talented sales and marketing teams and helping to create our strategy. I joined in 2012 and fell in love with now>press>play’s social mission and impact. This drives everything we do.

I believe a sense of playfulness and curiosity helps keep you young at heart!

Amy Gargya
Head of Operations

My role involves many activities that impact the various departments within now>press>play implementing the right processes and practices across the organisation. I help keep the wheels turning and I really enjoy working with our fantastic team to produce a worthwhile product that makes a real difference.

Between juggling work and 2 small children, I have found a new love in boxing!

Tim Bamber
Head of Sound

I’m responsible for making the stories in now>press>play come to life through voice, music and sound, working with our awesome team of Voice Actors, Sound Designers and Composers. I’m passionate about listening, and the way stories, music and sound help us to learn and remember things.

In my other life I’m a Composer and Sound Designer for film, theatre, and art projects.

Anna Wheatley
Head of Stories

I have the privilege of both writing scripts for our experiences and working with other writers; collaborating on story ideas and editing their work. I also occasionally act in and direct our recording sessions.

I have always been obsessed with stories and the power they have to inspire and unite humans. In my other life I am a freelance playwright, performer and theatre-maker.

Fareen Massey
School Manager — Northern England

I work with now>press>play schools in Northern England supporting educators with their school priorities to deliver the very best learning resources. Our schools love the auditory learning style and approach. We ignite learning through immersive story-telling sound & movement that transports the children to the place of their topic.

A truly rewarding role to be part of and see the impacts it is having on children no matter what their academic ability is.

Claire James
School Manager - International and West Midlands

I work with schools that are interested in subscribing to now>press>play, consulting them on the impact the resource has on learning and arranging their trials. I also support our international schools.

When I’m not working I’m usually found pottering in the garden, swimming in rivers, reading or walking my rescue dogs Bruno and Lucy.

Rob Jones
School Manager - London, South East & Essex

Hello, I’m Rob. It’s my job to help bring now>press>play into schools covering London, the South East and Essex. I’m here to support schools in introducing now>press>play and also work closely with trusts to help the rollout across schools.

Outside of work I can be found mainly entertaining my three young children (sometimes with the headphones) or when I get a chance out on the football field, being a big kid!

Jolene Chalk
School Manager - Midlands, East of England, South West, Channel Islands & Wales

I absolutely love being a School Manager at now>press>play. I’m lucky enough to meet amazing people every day and build long standing relationships with all of our schools.

Being a singer, I spend a lot of my spare time at the end of a microphone or dancing to Baby Shark with my beautiful daughter — the latter being my favourite.

Molly Small
Finance Administrator

I do the finance-related bits and bobs behind the scenes at now>press>play. I’m also an actress and my voice features in several of the Experiences.

I think now>press>play is such a fantastic, imaginative resource for schools and it’s great to be a part of the team.

Tegen Seager-Gibbs
Digital Marketing Manager

I get to engage with teachers through now>press>play’s marketing strategy whether that’s setting up a new initiative, making sure our content reaches new teachers, building our base of blogs, or collecting evidence on our impact. I also keep the website ticking along and an eye on our data and metrics.

Encouraging creativity and everyone having access to opportunities is incredibly important to me which is why I joined now>press>play — and I love the stories.

Stephanie Moothoosawmy
Content Executive

I look after the now>press>play social media channels which means lots of content creating, scheduling and engaging with our wonderful community. I also help design the company assets which are shared online and with our schools.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll often find me with a good book or listening to K-pop music.
