Stone Age

After weeks going hungry in your stone house, you’re desperate to join your dad and sister, Etta, out on thehunt. But the hunt party is attacked by wolves, and in the confusion you and Etta get lost and discover a housemade of wood. What other new technologies do these people possess, and how will they lead you back toyour dad?

In this Experience, your class will learn about:

• Survival in Stone Age Britain: stone shelters, making fires and hunting (a woolly mammoth)
• Tools & weapons for hunting and flint-mining
• Progression from the Mesolithic to Neolithic period, such as the transition to timber houses
• Art (e.g. cave painting) and the site of Stonehenge
