The Minister for War pays your family a visit to recruit your servant, Jim, to serve in the Crimea. It’s not fair that only men risk their lives, so you defy your father and go to nursing school. Your peers look down on you because you’re posh, but you persevere – and bring changes that will influence nursing forever.
